Dr. Jessica Hudson, born in Miami, Florida. Dr. Hudson, was an educator in the public school system for over 12 years before becoming full-time with her Companies.

        Watching the struggle and pain in her community growing up, Dr. Hudson had that yearning to make a difference. First, she was self motivated to complete her education. After graduating from Miami Carol City Senior High School, she enrolled in Florida Atlantic University where she obtained a B.A. in Sociology. She went on to receive a M.S. in Exceptional Student Education and an ED.D in Higher Educational Leadership/ minor in Human Administration.

               

         In order to give back to the community, Dr. Hudson became a member of the N.A.A.C.P. A silent force to be reckoned with, she started the Dela Academy © 3 years ago.

               

         She is also the owner of Hands on Development©. The company is a program that works with people with disabilities. She also housed families and single women in her home that became homeless and helped them get back on their feet, than birthed, Connections Divine© is a mentoring and financial education program designed to help find funds for college and how to prepare a budget. Preparing High School Minority Students to Become College/ Career Ready within the Urban Community is her first novel case study.
